Joseph Pierre

Pierre Joseph, is a French visual artist/ painter settled in the commune of Sauternes in southern Gironde.

He is a polymorphic painter, painting sometimes abstract, sometimes figurative works.
Mixed technique of application with knife and brush with accumulation of layers.
His artistic signature consists in the accumulation of materials to create effects of shadows and lights.
The use of gold leaf accentuates this effect.
The work thus reflects the light in a singular way depending on where the observer is. Very recognizable style, very instinctive.
Pierre is interested in the colours of his region as the seasons go.
